What was the highlight of Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura
A great stay at a beautiful hotel in a great location in a busy town.
Breakfast is available at an extra charge and we did not take advantage of it. There is sufficient choice of prepared food from local supermarket and department store to support all meals. The view from the room, corner room on the top floor at the highest daily rate. The room was beautiful, large and pristine. The location in the heart of visitor's Kamakura is perfect.
There were a number of appliances in the room, heater, coolers, humidifiers with instructions only in Japanese. Take a picture and ask at the desk. There is a step-up in the middle of the room which has to be kept in mind. I did not like the desk on the second floor where the ice machine was also situated. Coming in to the hotel you had to wait for the lift to the 2nd floor and after taking care of goals, then walk back to the lift and wait again to get to the room.

Great hotel to stay for visiting Kamakura
Great location, short walk from the Kamakura Station makes travelling very easy. A new modern hotel with room design feels like MUJI. A family mart right next to the hotel entrance super handy, also a MUJI shop with Cafe next door.

A pleasant stay
Friendly staff and Muji style room is the highlight of the stay. Its location is an added bonus and overall a very enjoyable stay.
There are a few strings of dusts hang from the ceiling in our room. The room is otherwise very clean.
